INSPIRED BY: Spin the Globe

With two weeks in the Philippines on the horizon, I've anxiously been counting down the days until vacation. Lately I've been cozying up with AFAR Magazine to satiate my yearning. I love their Spin the Globe column, in which they send a writer to a destination at random, with little notice.

It seems that the truest tell of a location's personality and charm can be found in the remnants that make their way home. If you're anything like me, you hold on to each little souvenir, pamphlet, and postcard as a reminder of when and where. These colorful composite shots make me want to start packing now.
