I'm a firm believer in taking breaks throughout the workday, but this article from Fast Company confirmed my thoughts. Researchers found that the sweet spot for maximum productivity is 52 minutes of work, followed by a 17 minute break. Is that realistic for every profession? Probably not. However, it's a nice case for taking a few minutes away from the screen.
