Lately, I've been in a breakfast funk. It's a meal that's easily forgotten somewhere in between my morning coffee and catching up on email. I sit down at my desk to knock a few items off my to-do list, and before I know it, it's 1 pm and I'm wondering if it's still socially acceptable to make myself an egg sandwich.

It's those days that I find myself drained of energy coupled with a headache that I can't seem to shake, and I almost always regret not having eaten sooner. Lunchtime me knows what's up.

I knew something had to change, but sitting down to a nice breakfast each morning seemed woefully unattainable. That is, until I started to shift my mindset.

I didn't need a four-course meal. I just need a little more in my stomach and I needed it to become a habit. No more skipping breakfast and being hungry enough to reach for the chips come 5pm.
